1. Ginger tea

Turmeric milk can cause some relief when consumed every night before sleeping. Turmeric has antibiotic and antioxidant properties which can work out in a cold with a glass of warm milk.
Garlic is quite good for health and studies have shown that it can be used for relief from cold. Its antimicrobial and antiviral compounds can kill the cold-causing virus and alleviate the symptoms. Eat crushed 1-2 cloves of garlic and 1 tablespoon of honey to get some comfort.
4. Black Pepper
Black pepper is another herb than help you in cold. It will stem the flow of mucus and also stop the sneezing.Mix a spoon of ground black pepper with lukewarm water and drink it.
Consuming a ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder with 1 tablespoon honey twice a day can give you relief in cold. Cinnamon has antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties that treat the infection and make you feel better.
