5 Home Remedies For Thicker Hair

1. Egg Mask

Your hair needs protein to stay healthy and to stay on your head. The egg is a rich source of protein and its mask can be prepared without much hassle.

Take an egg, beat it nice and proper and apply it on your wet hair. Let it sit for 30 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water and shampoo. Repeat once or twice a week.

2. Yoghurt

Yoghurt provides the right amount of nourishment for your hair and the Lactic acid present will exfoliate your scalp and unclog the hair follicles to promote hair growth.

Apply yoghurt all over the scalp carefully and leave the mask on for 30 minutes. Then, rinse off with shampoo. Do this once a week.

3. Onion Juice

Onion juice is one of the oldest and most effective home remedies for thicker hair. The sulfur-rich onion juice boosts the collagen production, which in turn promotes hair growth.

Peel an onion and blend it properly. Extract the juice and use a cotton to apply it on your scalp. Leave it on for 15 minutes before washing it off. Do this once a week.

4. Aloe Vera Gel

The aloe vera gel provides nourishment and hydration to your hair. By removing the dead cell build-up on your scalp and stimulating hair follicles, aloe vera gel grows your hair thick and give them a texture.

Apply the gel on your hair and leave it on for an hour. Rinse with shampoo afterwards. Repeat this twice or thrice a week.

5. Ginger

The ginger increases the blood circulation in your scalp and hence, promotes hair growth.

Peel and grate a ginger, rub it on those areas where the hair is less. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse with shampoo. Repeat twice a week.
